The emergence of spring in the northern hemisphere coincides with the vernal equinox, when the Sun begins its annual transit of Aries. This new season began at 8:30 pm PDT on March 19, 2016.
As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries symbolizes the birth of the new. Its energy is associated with youth, a time when we experience the liveliness that comes with embarking on an untested life path. Our attitude is one of eagerness. Aries forges new ground as an explorer, a warrior, the champion of a cause, or a rugged outdoors(wo)man. These are the people who may be in front of the pack, or who are willing to go it alone if that what circumstances dictate. Remember that you have each zodiac sign in the natal chart, so you will likely experience Aries energy in some aspect of your life, depending on its location in your particular birth chart.
